Bucyrus International says its new FBL- 55(H) diesel-powered shield hauler offers the highest lift capacity in its class, able to lift and carry longwall shields and equipment weighing up to 60 mt (66.2 tons). Australia-based Minemax has announced new releases for all three of its scheduling software solutions: Minemax Scheduler V5.0 for strategic schedule optimization, iGantt V3.6.7 for underground production scheduling and Tempo V1.1 for integrated and optimized mine scheduling. The company says Minemax Scheduler V5.0 Beta has been tested by selected customers and the V5.0 production release is now available for maintained customers, providing superior optimization performance in comparison with version 4 and allowing users to evaluate more scenarios in the same time span.

The company says these engines can be configured to meet many mining application needs including man trips, roof bolters, personnel carriers and service centers. The in-line four-cylinder N 45 MSS X (99 hp) and the in-line six-cylinder N67 MNT X (175 hp) are available as a module complete with cooling package, making them a drop-in solution for repower needs including older air-cooled engines.
